Some wedding venues feel cinematic the moment you step inside – and for Samantha and Marius, their Royal Conservatory of Music wedding in Toronto was exactly that. From their first visit on a crisp November evening, the couple was drawn to its sweeping views, architectural beauty and sense of timeless elegance. It became the perfect setting for a wedding designed with intention, emotion and unforgettable guest experiences at its core.
The ceremony: Timeless romance in Mazzoleni Hall
Planned and designed by Narelle Janine, Samantha and Marius’ celebration unfolded in August 2024 inside the intimate Mazzoleni Hall. Known for its moody architecture and musical soul, the space created a dramatic yet romantic backdrop for the couple’s vows. A lush chuppah by Neroli Floral Design anchored the ceremony, bringing softness and warmth to the historic hall while honouring the couple’s vision of refined romance.

Meaningful details & timeless blooms
Florals played a meaningful role throughout the day. An all-white palette added a timeless elegance, while Samantha’s bouquet of calla lilies paid tribute to her mother, who carried the same blooms on her own wedding day. These quiet, personal details were thoughtfully woven into the design, making the celebration feel deeply personal rather than staged.
An immersive guest experience
The wedding reception experience was equally considered. Guests were seated at two long tables styled with wooden bistro chairs, vintage silverware and debossed stationery that reflected the couple’s understated sophistication. Personalized matchboxes, custom bar menus and thoughtfully layered tablescapes created a sense of warmth and connection, encouraging conversation and shared moments throughout the evening.

A celebration crafted with intention
As the evening unfolded, the celebration took on a beautiful rhythm of its own – champagne poured freely, the cake was cut amid laughter and applause, and the espresso bar kept conversations lingering long after dinner ended. A vintage photo booth captured candid smiles, stolen glances and joy-filled moments guests would carry with them long after the night faded.
For Samantha, the most unforgettable moments were the quiet ones – the intimacy of their first look, the joy of family gathered close and the thrill of seeing every detail they had envisioned come to life. Dressed in a silk Romona Keveza gown with a lace Zuhair Murad veil she had long admired, she embodied effortless elegance from start to finish.
Samantha and Marius’ wedding was more than a beautiful event – it was a carefully curated experience filled with meaning, artistry and love in perfect harmony.
